Hailing from a long line of portrait artists, Patrice Evangeline carries on the tradition with an exceptional artistic eye and attention to detail in her work. As a child, she discovered a fascination with faces, their unique features, shapes and skin tones. Patrice soon found how makeup could transform, sculpt and enhance and has continued learning the magic of makeup ever since.
Her love of the arts and her outgoing personality led to a career in theater and a BFA from the University of Michigan. Patrice realized she enjoyed creating characters through makeup as much as actually performing and quickly became the resident makeup artist to her fellow thespians.
Working in Los Angeles, both in feature film and television art departments, Patrice witnessed firsthand the importance of creating a flawlessly blended makeup application that translates beautifully on camera. Always eager to learn new techniques, Patrice attended Makeup Designory School in New York City, honing her skills. While in New York she joined forces with Sally Duvall, former assistant to the famed makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin. Patrice's work can be seen in magazines such as Papercut and PMc. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and son and is available for weddings, special events, print, tv and film.
